The 2017 OPC Apple Festival Committee has selected the Oxford Community Preschool to be our primary beneficiary for this year’s festival. We are seeking sponsors and donors to help us raise money in support of their programs and outreach.
Why support the Oxford Community Preschool?
As a non-profit school situated in the middle of Oxford, they offer a safe nurturing learning environment for the children of our community. A large part of their operating budget must come from various fundraising events they have throughout the year. Despite this, they work hard to instill in their students a love for helping others by also raising money for other important causes. Some of their service projects have raised money for Conkerr Cancer, supplies for deployed troops, and CompAnimals Pet Rescue.
How will the money we raise be used?
- Full or partial scholarships for children in the community to attend the preschool program.
- Learning tools and curriculum that can help children with special needs. (Examples: sensory objects, music therapy tools, core strengthening toys that help children with low muscle tone, etc.)
- Trainings for the staff to help better serve the children with special needs in the classroom. (Examples: ADHD, Autism, Speech, etc.)

for the children in our community!
The OPC Apple Festival began in 1989 as a fundraiser to help rebuild our church after a devastating fire, but has since become a tradition of outreach and support to the Oxford area. We would be thrilled to have you partner with us in raising funds for this very worthy cause.
You can help us strengthen this beloved community preschool by supporting our event in one (or more!) of these ways:
The Oxford Rotary Foundation’s Inclusive Playground project was our beneficiary last year. Look here for updates.
